Edgewood In The Pines first opened for play in 1978. The course was designed by David W. Gordon.
Edgewood in the Pines has some very mundane holes and some very exciting holes. It's a course with two personalities. Some holes (like the first four) are rather mundane and straight forward. Once you get away from the clubhouse area the holes become more interesting and challenging. A number of holes on the back nine holes offer some challenge with water involved (#14, #15, #17, and #18). Check out the crooked pine tree off the 6th tee.
Edgewood In The Pines plays to a maximum distance of 6,721 yards and a par of 72 . The course rating is 71.9 with a slope rating of 132.

The course has been under Bank control and currently a new leasee is running the course before if was Ron Jawarosky's group. New group is doing with what the bank will allow. Most greens are fronted by sand traps that are in average to poor condition. Overall layout is fun for the average golfer.
